Douglas Allen in the Community

At Douglas Allen we don’t consider ourselves to be typical estate agents as we strongly believe in giving something back to the community.

Our chosen nominated charity is the Haven House Foundation.

Haven House Foundation operates in North and East London, West Essex and East Hertfordshire, to provide short term respite and hospice care for children aged between 0 – 19 years who have a life-limiting or life-threatening condition. In addition they also provide valuable practical and emotional support for the families of their patients.

Douglas Allen Managing Director, Jon Holden explains why we are so committed to supporting the Haven House Foundation.

 

"The Haven House Foundation is one of those remarkable charities which receives no statutory government funding yet, through the help of many companies and individuals like ourselves, they are able to provide their invaluable services and support for free.

All our staff take an active interest in supporting this most worthwhile of causes through payroll giving and organising fundraising schemes. We have also actively raised the awareness of Haven House through the marketing carried out in our branches, through Haven House branded marketing material and advertising. We also are happy to provide sponsorship for many of their events.

We are extremely proud of the contribution our company and our staff have made so far and will continue to devote the necessary time and resources needed in the future, to help fund the Haven House Foundation, in order form them to continue to support the families in the Douglas Allen area".
